 Sometimes we close our eyes to protect ourselves from pain. But a moment comes when we simply have to open them and face reality.

​I painted this piece out of my own inner experiences. It is about the pain we try to hide from and the courage it takes to open up to the world again. For me, true strength is not about never feeling pain. It is about seeing the world as it is, with all its darkness and imperfections - and still choosing to live, to love, and to feel.

​Pain and life's challenges change us, but we don't have to let them define who we are. Perhaps the greatest human strength is to feel the full weight of this world and still leave room for light within us.
​And still - she chooses to bloom...
